A cost-effective alternative to traditional steel and concrete tanks. All the tanks can be fitted with tank furniture including roofs, hatches, nozzles and odour control equipment.

Tank Liners and Coatings

Refurbishing existing tanks and bunds, whether they’re made of steel, concrete, or plastic, Formatank’s lining systems can provide a cost-effective solution to your containment, protection and corrosion problems.

Tank Inspections

Formatank’s in-house engineers are fully EEMUA Tank Inspector and NDT qualified to carry out visual and non-destructive testing of storage vessels.

Formatank have in-house facilities to design, manufacture and install self-supporting GRP covers to suit apertures of any dimension or geometry.

Using in-house CAD, Formatank can create a wide range of bespoke tank furniture, from Z or U-style launder channels to vee-notched weirplates, pre-curved scumboards and diffusion drums.

Odour Control Ductwork

Suitable for municipal, industrial, recycling, and anaerobic digestion applications, Formatank’s ductwork can be retrofitted onto existing duct systems or entire new builds.

Who are Formatank?

Formatank was created by two brothers, Barry and Gavin Veitch, based in the Scottish Borders. Having decades of experience in the water industry starting in 1987, specifically dealing with tanks, they identified an opportunity to create a company that delivered industry leading tanks to multiple different sectors around the world.

Formatank has a network of engineers that can call on over 30 years of experience in dealing with tank asset management, providing our clients with a single source responsibility.

Formatank can make bespoke tank liners for chemical solutions, able to withstand various extremes of temperatures.

Formatank are water industry experts with over 30 years of experience. The team can carry the job from creation and groundwork to design and manufacturing, or the restoration of older tanks.

Food & Beverage

Formatank can reline and create tanks in accordance with international food and beverage safety standards. Therefore with their bespoke nature, are suitable to be used for any product which will be consumed.
